Restoring and Refreshing Curb Appeal While Preserving Original Character

This residential property in Saint-Jérôme was ready for an exterior makeover. The facade had developed yellow staining over time, a result of water pooling and sitting on the surface for extended periods. Although the home itself was well-maintained, the staining and overall fading of the exterior paint made it look tired, dated, and weathered. The homeowners wanted to keep the original charm of the property while giving it a clean, refreshed appearance that would last through the seasons.

We began the process by pressure washing the entire facade, removing years of grime, dust, and surface buildup. This helped lift some of the discoloration and prepared the surface for a smooth repaint. After washing, we scraped and sanded any areas where paint was loose or peeling, followed by spot-priming sections that needed extra adhesion. This kind of thorough prep work is essential for long-lasting results and makes all the difference in the final finish.

The wooden trims were also carefully cleaned, prepped, and repainted in their original tone, helping preserve the home’s classic details while improving the overall look. For the main exterior walls, we used a high-performance, weather-resistant exterior paint in a shade that matched the previous color, covering all stains and giving the home a like-new feel.

The final result is a home that feels clean, bright, protected, and revitalized, ready to face the elements again.
